The intent and purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to shortlist and ultimately secure a Consultant that can work with the City to reach the goals outlined within this RFQ, including but not limited to: analyzing the City’s current processes and developing and recording a streamlined process that integrates and can be supported by a software and systems, drafting the specifications and requirements for a software RFP to be issued by the City and assist with Vendor selection and recommendation, support and project manage the implementation of the new software and systems, and finally, project close-out and final commissioning.
The City is committed to acquiring a comprehensive and cost-efficient Canadian HRIS system, complete with the necessary professional services for process mapping, along with implementation. The goal is to transition away from the current spreadsheets to a reliable solution for HRIS that embodies industry best practices, can manage multiple collective agreements, federal and provincial legislative rules.
