The Work generally comprises of:

The urbanization of 41 Street between east of 39 Avenue and 40 Avenue, partial intersection widening along 40 Avenue, walking trail construction, local storm sewer installation, and landscaping.

The Work will include limited roadway widening along the east side of 40 Avenue consisting of excavation to the design subgrade elevation, roadway embankment and ditch grading, followed by the supply and installation of granular base course, new concrete curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete pavement. In addition to the intersection widening will be the urbanization of 41 Street between east of 39 Avenue and 40 Avenue which will include excavation to the design subgrade elevation, cement stabilization of the existing subgrade, supply and placement of the granular base course and asphalt concrete pavement, catch basin and storm sewer connections to the East Drainage Channel, along with the supply and construction of new concrete curb and gutter and curb ramps.
